Palais Royal ... again - a new theatre

There is a change in the gardens of Palais Royal, on which I have already posted several times (see here and here). I have there also referred to the Théatre Français / La Comédie Française. What’s happening now is that the 18th century theatre building will be renovated over a longer period and in the meantime, a temporary wooden building has been built. It has been placed between the newly refurbished colonnades of the Galeries d’Orléans, which actually already previously used to be covered, until around 1930, being a shopping gallery. The temporary theatre will hold some 750 places.

Here is a view of how the Galeries d’Orléans looked, “naked”.

The now famous Buren columns are obviously differently used by girls and boys.

Some seagulls were patiently waiting, until… Here is also a proof that birds can’t read (Pélouse interdite = Get off the grass).

The exceptionally (relatively) mild weather helps roses not only to survive, but there are also some buds.

ah les colonnes de buren. la photo, avec les deux enfants est genial, elle meritait a elle toute seule un post complet

No fair posting a thousand entries at one time.

Faut espérer qu'ils vont faire qq chose de bien et de beau, pas comme les colonnes de Buren que moi, je n'aime pas.
J'ai réussi à agrandir mes photos.

I am pleased to see there are still some roses there in winter. Last May there were so many roses - I placed one on my last post – very pale old-fashioned style roses. It was very warm then. Nice to see what is happening there.

I'm so glad we were able to visit MY Palais Royal together again this trip. LOL! I see some similar photos! :) Well my blog friends will just have to see some of these all over again on my blog. Love seeing inside the temporary theater. Now I know how they did it! I feel fortunate that I've been able to see the PR at least once without any barriers. It seems it's always under repairs.

Ah tu y es allé, tu as vu, photographié et tu montres !

hi Peter!
yes, i have yet to see what it looks like soon! ( i wish ) haha. ^0^
and even though constantly under repair, at least, there's always something new to look forward to.

Rosebuds...wonderful.

Seagulls are a nuisance, illiterate and arrogant. Here, at the market square, you can't eat anything, seagulls rob all your food.

So springtime there, here it's snow, quite beautiful actually, posted just today snow photos...me!!

La elegancia de Paris, no solo esta en su moda y sus gentes. También en sus edificios.

Quizas por eso me enamoro. Prometo volver.

un saludo amigo mio
