The other
day I found this in my little garden. Suddenly, this tree was full of flowers,
big flowers…
… and a few
hundred still preparing to “explode”. I will have flowers for many days to come! By the way, anybody know the name of this tree?
I got an immediate answer from Lyliane: Hibiscus syriacus. Thanks!! "Rose of Sharon, Syrian Ketmia, Rose Mallow, Mugunghwa, Guimauve en Arbre..."

When you
look closer at these flowers, you would imagine that if you were a bee or a
bumblebee or…
I tried to get some photos when they were flying in, but it's not easy..
So, they arrived in great number and seemed quite exited, from early morning to late evening! Where do they go to sleep? Any hives in the neighbourhood? Probably - they are all over Paris nowadays.

Merci
Are those beautiful bees working full time all over Paris?
Maybe they know better than anyone that such a divine city is not in a tropical or subtropical area on the map? That because of its summers being so short, they do not have much time to do the work that nature assigned them?
Maybe the bees are so excited (like us tourists) to be in such a place? Maybe they're flying around your beautiful garden to the rhythm of "Volare"?
Divinas fotos Peter. Muchisimas gracias.

How beautiful, Peter! What a gift, such loveliness.
Gorgées, elles sont gorgées!!!
That is a gorgeous hibiscus, Peter! And I am happy to read about all the bees making an appearance :)

You are blessed to have the bees. Here in Pennsylvania so few this year due to Total Hive Collapse Disease. Walk down to the bee hives in Luxembourg Garden or at Hermes on the roof. Paris is so hospitable to these important pollinators. Lucky you!
