Patience

Referring to the below post and awaiting some kind of assistance, advice, from the Blogger Help Forum (nothing so far), I prefer to delay my next post, hopefully only for a short period. I prefer to resume only when I know that everything is running normally. In the meantime, I’m very disappointed about the lack of assistance from Blogger / Google; the main issue seems to (not to) be able to reach someone who can really help, explain.

We all await with patience. Well for me... not so much! You know I"m all about immediate gratification! Especially in Paris. :)

Your archives and tags are showing up... do you know what dates were lost?

You may have to write a paper letter and send by snail mail, to the corporate officers. That usually gets their attention in such places...

Be well Peter !

Blogger may be experiencing some difficulties as I have had them too, but when I return it all goes back to normal again. But the end result of all of this has been that I went to youtube to learn what videos are posted about blogging, and I learned of adsense, making money through blogspots. You actually should be earning money with your wonderful photojournal. However, using this experience as a guide, I would insist that payment be such that you could not be ripped off. I hope that you will get this worked out to your satisfaction and continue building and workng such a great site as you have done. But think about using adsense. You deserve to make some money at it too. Satisfaction from the Ritz is one thing, but seriously, google is in business for money, and they would love to have you I can just bet. You have a great following.

Without wanting to necessarily support Google on this one, I can understand the distance they have installed. There must be millions of Blogger blogs now, but perhaps we should also remember that they are completely free to use. I guess we have to accept the limitations that this also implies.

You problems have scared me though, and I have backed up my archives now!

Your blog seems restored to normal as far as I can see, I don't know whether your ability to comment on other people's blogs has been restored too.

Good luck with all of this.
The phone number given in yesterday's comments didn't work out?

If you're waiting for help from Google/Blogger, it will be a long, long wait. They leave it up to the forums to answer questions. My advice would be to start a mirror blog, so if something happens to one, you still have the other.

I really hope it's going to get sorted out. However, don't expect anyone from Google or Blogger to answer your questions ... they never do!

I understand that often erase a blog because they think it is spam ...

A year ago I exported my blog and everything went well!
See you soon!

I had my One to One at the Apple Store today and we took my blogs that I'd backed up via BLogger and put them on my external hard drive as extra safety. Peter, as much as I regret your blog problems, at least it alerted all of us that we need to take precautions. Merci beaucoup!!!
