Ice

My « real » post for today is below, but from a walk yesterday morning I thought I had to show that Paris had this winter's first frost night and that there was just enough of thin ice to support the seagulls. It’s getting warmer again.

I like the tall weeds surrounding the ice patch as well as the sweet little birds. Very nice photo...they seem to like the ice.

I see that it's going to rain and be cloudy the rest of the week. I'd like to think Paris is "weeping" because I've left !HA I believe I saw more seagulls in Paris this week than I have on trips to the beach!

A different view of Paris that you normally post, and I like it!

Peter - what do you mean, "my real post"??? This is worth a post in its own right, it's an amazing photo, especially when you think it's been taken in Paris. Where exactly?

Oh, I do love this! I reminds me of a post I did about two weeks ago, where the ducks were doing as your seagulls do -- standing and walking along the reflected frozen waters of my favorite pond. I do love the white on white, though!

Here is not so cold, but I don't mind cold weather, I don't like these rainy days!!! :(
And wind...and rain again...and wind...
