Still cold...

It's still cold. I feel a bit reluctant to go out for blogging subjects. This week I have also been more "baby-sitting" than usual, which also forced me to get up earlier than usual.... and for once I saw the sun rise... over trees.

Actually, the trees were between two buildings. The chimney on the right...

... produced a lot of smoke. All heating systems work at their maximum.

The birds seemed to leave for some hopefully warmer place...

... and the pilot of this airplane seemed to have changed his mind on where to go.

Merci chèr Peter for these images of a Paris sunrise. I've not seen of course. Vous êtes très courageux!

Have fun with our dear Jay today. You two try to stay out of trouble! :) I can't wait to hear your route.

Although I do not see it often enough, the awakening sun making its appearance in Paris is stunning, and you captured it beautifully! Sorry that you had to get up earlier than usual, but we are the beneficiaries!

Stay warm!

Genie

Here we are waiting more snow today. :(
I think I will stay at home, it's the smart idea :)

Peter, I do hope it warms up over there soon. It seems all of Europe has been bitterly cold for weeks. Your sunrise photos are wonderful [even if you aren't a morning person!]

Stay warm !

There´s poetry in what you saw and what you write...

The freezing temperatures don´t interfere with your inspiration...

Bravo, Peter!

Pozdrawiam. *** Pictures of sunrise and placement stages of its display in collage, great. Winter might have to go away and come spring. I dream about it. Yours.
