I think Olivier expresses how I feel as well. After four years of bleak January weather, this last week in Paris was a delight. You captured it perfectly Peter!

Tu as raison, je me suis aussi fait la remarque, l'automne dure longtemps, il n'est pas flamboyant. Sans doute les feuilles ont bien profité des pluies de cette année ?
Je remarque la façade du quai Branly... Le jardin du musée n'est pas vilain en ce moment, mais j'en suis blasée...

Ours stayed longer than usual also. These are gorgeous, especially those at the tower and the "water leaves.' Beautiful!
