M.U.R. - the "wall" - again...

This is not the first time I talk about this “wall” (see here previous post), which since 2007 is redecorated about every two weeks by a street artist. It’s administered by an association (yes, I’m a member), named M.U.R. (Modulable Urbain Réactif), with partners like the City of Paris, Centre Pompidou, Fondation Cartier, Canal+… Almost every street artist who “counts” has performed here. (Please note that “mur” in French means “wall”.)

Last Saturday I went again to watch ”Seth” (Julien Malland), on whom I have already posted e.g. here and here - see some examples of what he has done in Paris.

You can find the “wall”, Rue Oberkampf. There is always a crowd to watch … and you, and the artist, can make a break in the well situated bar / restaurant.

Ever since childhood, I've been absolutely reverential to anybody that can draw and paint like this....
What a gift!
Your photos as usual...spectacular!
Thank you so much, M. Peter.

Bonjour cher Peter,

It would be so much fun to watch "Seth" (or any of the talented street artists of Paris) create a work on this wall. Maybe when I'm there next time.
