I’m back
from Sweden. I have a very busy program the coming few weeks, so there will
hardly be any regular posting for a while. Also, I have already reported quite
a lot on my birth town Gothenburg, so from this latest trip there will only be this duck
mother and her 15 (!!!) babies, met in a street. I already published a photo on Facebook
a couple of days ago. I should have made a video! The mother decided to leave
the street for a little garden. There was a little wall. It took a couple of minutes
before the last baby managed the jump – after many tries. Only then the mother
decided to continue further into the garden. Can ducks count?
Well, another little thing... I noticed that the French language sometimes is in use in Sweden.

I love your walks and visits no matter where you take us, Peter. Best of luck in your busy coming weeks!
The parade of the mother duck and her ducklings sounds charming. Warm regards
Ah ah ah for the French reading bit...
This mother duck must certainly have her ducks in a row ;-)
Adorable photos, Peter! Thanks!
Some research shows that ducks have at least a limited ability to count. They may not be able to tell the difference between 9 and 10, but can tell the difference between 3 and 10.

What a lovely and LARGE family! Thank you, Peter, for the wonderful photos.

Read on a célèbre French newspaper:
La parabole de la flèche empoisonnée: Savoir ce qui se passe vraiment est le début de la route à la liberté........
Dalai Lama:
Si l'on est blessé par une flèche empoisonnée, l'important est d'abord de la retirer, ce n'est pas le moment de s'interroger d'où elle vient, qui l'a tirée, de quel poison s'agit-il.
Was this said newspaper trying to wake up/enlight the citizens of La Belle France towards choosing the right presidential candidate? I hope so. And it worked!
Dear Peter,
I followed this election with great interest. What a fortunate country to have M. Macron as its leader!
Love always,
Maria O. Russell
Lovely story!
