My daughter's contribution

My daughter, Stéphanie, forwarded a few photos to me, taken last weekend.

These first ones are of two swans flying along the Seine River. Swans around Paris are in general domestic and not supposed to fly around. Are these wild or just making a tour?
She also walked along Rue des Rosiers. I feel that these photos of a charming old tailor add a lot of value to the street ... and to my recent post about this street.

Well the weather's no better right here Peter. Later tonight in Birmingham?? LA NEIGE again! Of course I prefer la neige in Paris but ........ here I am! Quel dommage.

Stephanie, what wonderful monochrome photographs you have shared with us today. The swans are something I never thought I'd see in Paris, especially in flight. What a glorious sight! And your images of the tailor are lovely as well. Shooting through windows is so hard. I wish I could have a try at photographing him myself one day. Maybe I will be that lucky!

Peter, I think you'd better watch out. If Stephanie
decides to get her own blog, you might have some competition!! :) I hope we get treated to more of her photos in the future. I'm sure you'll press her into service when you want a little break! :)

Bon weekend mon ami!

Beautiful! I can never get birds in the frame. What a backdrop for their grace.

Great photos - I've never seen swans on the Seine in Paris before, but there's no reason why not after all!

What a wonderful sight to see swans in flight. Perhaps Stephanie will create a blog to showcase her photography.

The most beautiful pictures that I can viewed last days.. Your granddaughter knows what it is worth commemorating on the camera and knows how to do it. Fluttering couple of swans over the town are beautiful!
Soon you say about her - the student surpassed the master.

Happy Valentine's Day, Peter!

Love the first photo with the beautiful capture of the rain on the sidewalk.

Stephanie's photos are splendid. Perhaps she will share other photos with us in the future...

Should amend my comments, I see that the wet street is the result of SNOW. We had a little snow in Charleston, SC over the weekend. The best kind: here today, gone tomorrow. Today: il fait soleil!
