A flower shop

I found this flower shop and was so impressed by the way the shopkeeper had decorated the stands in front of the shop that I thought I must make a post about it. There are several nice flower shops in the immediate neighbourhood of this one, just at the end of the famous Rue Mouffetard (see previous post). The shop in question is called “Jardin d’Ebène” and I found that they have an own website. (I have no commission on the sales.)

I wish you a nice weekend!

D'une vue d'ensemble à la tentation du détail! Pour ceux qui habitent Paris, tu leurs as livrés l'adresse sur un magnifique plateau.

There is obviously an artist working there ! Isn't it lovely when people actually take pleasure in their work ?
A wonderful weekend to you...

So very artistic! A joy for all those passing by -- even those of us taking the 'virtual' tour. Thanks for another wonderful post.

What lovely colors of purple! And they look especially nice in all the sunshine. Finally we have some sunshine! :) Such a lovely shop. Thank you for sharing with us, Peter.

Happy Midsummer to you, and I hope you have a fantastic weekend, too.

This is so colorful, so beautifully coordinated and lovely -- I can see why you were inspired!

A year ago today I came home from Paris. Didn't realize it till I heard the Michael Jackson anniversary coverage and remembered watching that while waiting for my flight delay to end. Thank you for reminding me with every visit of this city's remarkable beauty. Someday I will return.

I too adore this shop - always stop and admire the displays.

About two doors down is the most wicked patisserie!

Thanks for the photos - one of my favourite areas to visit to wander around the little shops, eat far too much and shop for shoes!

It would be difficult to pass by the shop without stopping. I hope you bought a flower or two.

Hello Peter

This is what I LOVE about Paris.
The flower shops.
I fell in love with them - who wouldn't?

Thank you for sharing, I must hurry and check out their blog!

mmmmm... lavender, and hydrangeas. I can smell the fragrances from here.
I loved looking at French flower shops when I was in France. We have flower shops here, but usually all the flowers are inside, not out on the street.

Oui, I do remember it now that I see your photos. I must have passed it many times last summer when we lived in the neighborhood. Makes me homesick for Paris and I"ve only been home 2 days!
Bon weekend to you Peter,
V

Hi Peter! Sorry for the absence, but after a long weekend break, I was working abroad last week...

See that summer came in and you opened the flower show. Great!!

yes, it's indeed very pretty!
i particularly like how the shop owner mix and match the whole monochromatic theme, it makes the whole display more enticing to look at.
