When you
walk along the large Boulevards de Clichy, de Rochechouart… on the lower, southern borders of Montmartre (or elsewhere), you are sometimes lucky to be able to push a gate which
opens, or find someone who lets you in. Here is an example. I don’t give the
exact address as people who live here mostly want to be left in peace.
These little
alleys, previously often occupied by workshops, are now sometimes occupied by
some artists, architects… but mostly just by people who have chosen to live in
a busy area, but still in a complete calm.
It’s always
striking to see how these people are fond of plants… and bikes!
Here is
another little alley. When you look up….

looks peaceful and silent!
Bonjour cher Peter,
Je suis heureuse de découvrir ces magnifiques photos parisiennes. Le petit appartement que je fais rénover en ce moment ce situe avenue Rochechouart... J'espère bien que nous allons bientôt nous voir.
Gros bisous ♡
Lovely! Thank you and the residents to allow us to peek in!
I love how people can find that calm, that bit of green, that quiet, even in a busy spot. Thanks for a step beyond the looking glass and into the "secret" world of Paris!
Hermoso lugar y hermosas fotos.
Mil gracias.

So lovely and peaceful! C-Marie
Des petits coins de Paris que j'aime bien.
These narrow alleys are one of the things I like best about Paris!
Glad to see your Google problems are sorted for the time being, by the way!
