Je ne peux m'empêcher: "...Let the stormy clouds chase everyone from the place Come on with the rain, I've a smile on my face I'll walk down the lane with a happy refrain And singin' just singin' in the rain..."
Peter, it looks just like my home [Vancouver] usually looks. But this is not good, especially at this time of year. I hope you don't have any flooding! But The reflections of the lights on the wet pavement is certainly beautiful. These are great photos!!
My previous blog, PHO, was in operation for a year, beginning in March 2007. It contains similar posts as this one, basically talking about different well known or more secrete sites in Paris. You can reach it by clicking HERE.

Ici on a eu aussi plusieurs déluges.
Des cordes, des trombes, des chats et chiens, des hallebardes...
I hope this doesn't bring an encore of the floods!

I'm always glad when a lot of snow or rain fall in Paris. That's when a certain "photographe impeccable" begins to write poetry with his camera...
Love the photos of the bistro Le George V. On one of its walls, there's a quote by George Sand that I like: "Le souvenir est le parfum de l'âme..."
Thank you, Peter for this fantastic post.
Agreed...those are beautiful shots...I'm crying for the business owners though.
Ici aussi il a bien plu, le jardin n'a jamais été aussi vert !!
