Blue sky...

Last week was quite busy with (very nice) visitors, some meetings… when do I « work » for my blog? Well, maybe a bit too easy as a solution, but, with my friends, I took a walk through the “Jardin des Plantes” – on which I already posted quite often – and I just took a few flower-photos, partly from the very rectangular French type of garden, but also from the wilder, so called, “Alpine Garden”.

So, some examples… and there are a lot of happy, almost spoiled, city-bees.

What a wonderful time of the year to have visitors! I'm sure you had a great time with them. So happy for you, Peter.
Jardin des Plantes was my mother's happy place. Coming from a subtropical country called "The Garden of Eden", I was always surprised to see how she could still be impressed by all the flowers and trees in that place. In her senior years, she came to live in Paris for 6 months every year. It always amused me to see how fast she could get on airplanes and rent an apartment.

Beautiful post and beautiful photos!
Thank you so much.
