Nothing
special, just that during some of my walks I sometimes tell myself … it’s worth looking at the doors. These are all examples from just a little piece of a discrete
street in the 7th arrondissement. Actually, what I call a “street”
has got two avenue names: Avenue Frédéric-Le-Play,
Avenue Emile-Deschanel. In the 1910’s, 20's and 30’s, a lot of attention was still given
to details in the decoration. I could make hundreds of posts, similar to this
one… I may make at least another one – one of these days.
Some more detailed illustrations.

Absolutely wow! This is indeed a marvellous post and the product of a lot of diligence on your part. Thank you!
Is any other place in the world (maybe in more of France) so richly decorated? Can we just tell at a glance where we are? Maybe this is why I chose Paris over London in a debate with my traveling friends.
I love looking at the doors in Paris. So unique and beautiful. Thank you for this lovely post.
Une très belle collection.
Du beau travail tout ça.
¡Que maravilla el arte en cada una de esas puertas!
Mil gracias por mostrarnoslas a través de su impecable fotografía.
