Horses

Friends around for a couple of days… Sorry, no time for blogging or visiting your blogs; just one photo today.

The other day I saw for the first time some horse riding policemen verbalizing. Normally I would expect to see policemen on horses only during parades… or possibly riots.

I wish you a nice weekend!

Take care.

In Colombo, they are used for traffic control as well.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Better not to 'horse' around with them right? :) You have a great weekend.

Bon week end!

Peter - you're not allowed to take photos of the police! :-)

I've never seen the police on horseback in Paris, but it's very common in the UK.

This is really a great photo - I like it very much.
Have a nice weekend with your guests, I hope it's possible for you to get around Paris inspite of the demonstrations.

I wonder what they're talking about.

Happy weekend!

I love anything and everything French. In 2001 I lived in Paris for 5 months as a college student studying abroad at la Sorbonne. I love seeing your photos of Paris. If you ever happen to go by Rue Victor Cousin (right next to la Sorbonne and only a couple blocks from le Pantheon), I'd love to see a picture of number 9 Rue Victor Cousin. Paris holds special memories for me :)

Thank you for sharing such wonderful photos of Paris. Europe makes history come alive and it is so exciting and revealing of cultures and how we came to the places and people we are today!
